Hello, my name is Alex Sieger. I am a senior journalism major at Ithaca College and I am currently working toward my bachelor of arts degree. Over the past four years at Ithaca College I have sharpened my writing, public speaking, and critical thinking skills in order to become a well rounded and multifaceted journalist. My classes have trained me in the fields of print and online media and my involvement in student run productions like Ithaca College Radio (WICB/VIC) and Ithaca College Television (ICTV) has given me valuable experience in broadcasting.
I have a strong passion for sports and I plan on applying for a job in sports broadcasting after graduation. In the Fall of 2011 I interned at KCBS/KCAL, a CBS affiliate, in Los Angeles, California. While at KCBS/KCAL I was able to see a professional television studio in action and I contributed to the 10:00 p.m. sports show three nights a week.
